INVITATION

Dear colleagues!

We kindly invite you to attend the Russian-Chinese Scientific Conference on Medical Microbiology and Clinical Mycology (XVIII Kashkin Readings) which will be held at the Hotel «Saint-Petersburg» in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) on 09-11 June 2015.

Carrying out of the Conference will serve as a powerful integrative factor for local and foreign laboratories, will help to strengthen the Russian-Chinese cooperation and to train talented young scientists. Transition from fundamental and preconceptual study into "OMIСs" technologies in the diagnostics, prognosis and treatment of disease had happened. The scientific platform of the Conference is founded on the achievements of genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics. This scientific platform will serve as a basis for development of translational medicine, personalized approaches to the therapy of infectious diseases and preventive measures.

The Russian-Chinese format of the Conference was approved on the First Council Meeting of the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU) which took place in Moscow (Russia) on 02 September 2014.

During the conference the following special topics will be in focus:

  1. New technologies in medical microbiology.
  2. Molecular epidemiology.
  3. Globalization and microbial resistance.
